BBS

[TPC BBS]

The TPC maintains a BBS for exchanging tips and techniques as well as a source of public domain and shareware software for the PC. Visitors are welcome to try the BBS at: (03) 3491-9317. Members also have access to limited internet EMail. You can write to members by addressing mail as: First.Lastname@tokyopc.bbs.net

The TPC BBS and voice mail systems are located in Meguro, Tokyo. The basic BBS uses two computers, each running one Wildcat! 4 node, connected to a Novell file server. A remote Linux computer provides the UUCP link to the internet.

Questions about the BBS can be mailed to Chief SYSOP Frank Angstead.

BBS by Mail

Many of the conferences on the TPC BBS are now available to members as internet mailing lists. Contact Jim Tittsler if you are interested in receiving one or more conferences mailed to your internet address.

Voicemail System

The club maintains a voicemail system to enable members to get the latest information about the club and to leave feedback for the officers and BBS operators. The voicemail system is available 24 hours a day at: (03) 3491-9315.
